Ken was born on 14th June 1931 and died on 19th November 2007 aged 76. Ken was born in Blackpool but spent most of his life living in Bamber Bridge. He had 2 daughters, 2 son-in-law's, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Ken had suffered from many strokes some were minor and some were more serious eventualy the strokes took not only his speech but his movement aswell. Along with his strokes Ken suffered from a mouth tumour which was staring to spred to his lungs. Ken died in his wheelchair whilst sleeping at home.
Ken was not only my grandad but a friend. Both my grandparents brought me up till i was 2. He meant the world to everyone that knew him.
You're the best person i have ever met and i miss u everyday, we shared alot both ups and downs, we've had our laughs. I know i never really thanked you for looking after me until i was 2 so this is my thanks to you, my own special way of saying thanks for everything you did not only for me but for everyone.
I remember all the holidays we went on, they were when your face lit up and you didnt care about anything as long as you got to spend some time in a pub you were fine. I remember one time when we were on holiday and it was around dinner and you wanted a pub but there was none so me you and grandma got a taxi to the nearest pub just so you could have a drink. do you remember that?
You meant the world to everyone that knew you, you was kind, careing, always saw the funny things in life and thats what made you special.
You stood by us through it all,
You saw us stumble
You saw us fall
You did it for us at great lengths
You showed us love - You showed us strength
We'll miss your smile in everyway
We'll think of you each and everyday
Our love for you will never die
We just hate to say goodbye.
i have a picture of at the side of my bed and i talk to you every night i sometimes even cry but i know that your watching us all from up above and i now that you was with me when i had my operation. your the one thats helping me through the pain.
i want to thank for waiting until steph's birthday had been before you died i know for them 3 days you was suffering. so all i can do now is ask that you will keep watching over us and looking out for us like you always did

its coming up to a special time in my life and the only present i could ask for is that your watching over me and the rest of us not only for my 21st but always!! there will be an extra seat just for you at my meal.

well its been 2 yrs, i know i'm a day early bt i don't want 2 upset grandma any more than she is.
steph has changed school and is enjoying. she's in yr 8 now and doing really well in school.
both tony and chelsea are in year 10 and their both enjoying their subjects and are also doing well.
john and rosie have had a little boy called daniel.
mum, dad, graham and karen are all well.
callum started primary school this year and mathhew started junior school an stephen is in year 4. carrie got married to ste.
grandma misses you alot even though she doesn't show around mum or dad but i know she does, so i just ask that you keep watch over her.
i miss you alot.
i offten think about the day you died and how you walked off into the clouds after waving to me, no-one really beleaves me about that so i guess thats just are secret, even though i look up every year 2 see if i can see you but i never do.

its been six months now and were all missin u loadz bt i no that ur watchin ova all us frm above. i miss our laughs that we shared. cassie misses you aswel eveytym we go round she lookin 4 u bt she ends up fallin asleep in ur chair. am so proud of u n everythin that u went thru.

I dnt know u ken but I know that you mean the world to Kirstie..She is so proud of you, n I know tht you're proud of her too. From what I've heard you were a lovely man, so full of life and spirit.. You fought so bravely, and I hope that all your suffering is over now. You live on forever in the hearts of those who love you. Rest in peace xoxox

i no i only got to meet u once or twice but i no a lot about u from what kirstie has told me. she loves you very much and misses u everyday.i also no that u r proud of her for getting thru her operation and being so brave. R.I.P. xx
